Aggressive prayer brings forth fruit. But we must know what this kind of prayer truly is, why it brings forth fruit, and how it works. We must also know what it is not, and why it doesn’t work sometimes.
Does aggressive prayer have to be loud ? Maybe, and maybe not. Authority doesn’t have an assigned volume. Sometimes the quietest words pack the most punch. Other times loudness gets the most attention.
What is the purpose behind aggressive prayer? To take down the enemy of our souls. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Where is the aggressive prayer power located? In our tongue. Proverbs 18:21 Death and live are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Aggressive prayer is meant to bring forth LIFE, salvation, deliverance, healing and ALL the things of God.
What does God’s Word say about aggressive pray-ers? The enemy seeks whom he may devour. But our stedfastness, in the Lord, defeats the enemy as our God of all grace strengthens and settles us. I Peter 5:8-11 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish strengthen, settle you. 11. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
